Photos from our concert at Airlie

Concordia performed ‘From Baroque to Beatles’, its second concert at the Airlie Retirement Community in the heart of Ivanhoe, on 21st September 2025.

What a supportive and enthusiastic audience it was! Our aim is to please and we certainly achieved our goal at Airlie. This concert was a private event for the residents of this amazingly luxurious venue. We felt totally at home from start to finish and this reflected in our performance.

Thank you to the staff of Airlie who assisted us with promoting the event and setting up on the day, and to the residents for hosting us again.

Our soloists featured Mujgan Tamer playing the mandolin, with a spellbinding performance of Czardas by Vittorio Monti, our guitar leader Michelle Nelson, who performed the famous Lute Concerto in D Major by Antonio Vivaldi, our mandola leader Holly Brick, performing Romanze by Théodore Ritter and the multi-talented Juliette Maxwell on the accordion, performing Libertango by Astor Piazzolla and Valse Ballet by Erik Satie. Thank you to all of our wonderfully talented soloists!

You can learn more about our Airlie concert by accessing the Concert Notes. We have also included some photos to remember the day.
